Hello new members! :D

This is basically a topic to all the new members who cant see their posts (when they post them). Over the past year me and other staff have had various pm’s from members asking why they cant see their comments so hopefully this topic will clear things up on that front. :)

Basically, every new member that registers with NHF are instantly put on pre-moderation. This means that when you submit a comment, it will go straight into a validation list (that only the moderators/administrators can see). When a mod/admin comes online, they will view your post and if it’s acceptable, they will accept, and only then it will appear on the board. This is usually the same day but it really does depend on when they come online. Please be patient with us :)

Just to be clear unacceptable content includes:

• Spam – posting completely irrelevant information and links to other sites. These members will be deleted instantly.
• Derogatory tones/language – belittling members, intimidating, foul language, racist & homophobic comments
• Text talk
• Information/comments invading Nigel’s privacy – this includes asking questions and speculating. Nigel's private life stays private
• Post Bumping/random comments – this is posting only a few words to topics to increase your post count and/or starting pointless topics, which can be submitted to another relevant thread.

If your posts contain any of the above, as I’m sure you can understand, they wont be submitted to the board as it’s a clear breach of the board rules :) To find a more in-depth run down of our rules please read our NHF Board Rules If you are breaking the rules, a personal message will be sent out to you. Please dont take this personally. It's just basically to point you in the right direction! :thumb:

Please note that this is only for your first 20 posts. If your posts don’t violate the board rules, then you will be taken of pre-moderation after the set post requirement and you will be able to post independently. However if your posts consistently do contain unacceptable content whether that be derogatory language or random comments, then you will remain on pre-moderation until further notice.

The pre-moderation rule is briefly outlined in your welcome pm (it should be in you inbox :thumb:) but in case you’ve missed it/want to know more, this thread should explain in more depth.
