I just want to make a few comments over the fiction forum. :thumb:
I know that the rules say that you get the password once you have been a member for a month and have 100 posts. While people are meeting the criteria, which is great :), there are some members who tend to post rarely in that month and then start posting excessively once their month is up (or later down the line) and request the password. It’s practically post bumping.
Whilst it’s fantastic that some people love the fiction forum and enjoy reading the fictions, please remember that this is a Nigel Harman Forum and in that, once you get the password, it’s not fair to neglect everything else and see the fiction forum as your sole reason to visit here. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not expecting people to post in their masses and view every single topic. I understand if you don’t want to post loads, especially for the new members who are new to this all and are finding their feet. :hug: However, please remember why you registered here in the first place. :)
To those who have a post count below 100, IF you post nothing to little within that month and then extremely post loads where you’re near or past your 1 month, DON’T expect to receive the password when you ask. I’m sorry if that sounds harsh :( but it’s not fair on those who take the time to write fictions and our fiction mod, Jem. It’s unfair for her to see some members do this and then request the password.
Like always, this doesn’t apply to all members of the board but a few individuals.

I just want to reiterate what Meena has said, really. I am very proud to be the Fic Mod on NHF. We have some AMAZING writers on this site who spend a lot of time writing fantastic fics for us all to enjoy, but that doesn't mean that post bumping should be used in order to gain the password. It is in place for a reason. First and foremost, like Meena said, this is a Nigel Harman fansite :wub: , and once you start getting involved with all the other fantastic topics on the site - you build up 100 posts in no time!
It just upsets me sometimes when some members get the password and then just spend their time reading the fics and not really posting anywhere else on the board. :( I know this doesn't apply to everyone, but this topic is just here as a friendly reminder :hug:
